Leading modular space solutions provider McAvoy has reported a significant financial boost, with revenue surpassing £75 million and EBITDA rising to £9.3 million for the 2023/24 financial year.
The company, a key player in the UK and Ireland’s modular building sector, credits its impressive performance to strong growth within its rental division and a notable uptick in sales for its flexible space solutions.
Several high-profile projects have contributed to McAvoy’s success in the past year, including:
• Securing a major rental contract for a capacity expansion project with a multi-academy trust, set to support 1,600 pupils in South West England.
• The completion of Orsett Heath Academy in Essex, McAvoy's largest project to date, providing space for 1,200 students. The project was delivered for the Department for Education (DfE) through the Mod C framework.
• Appointment to the Defence Infrastructure Organisation's £2bn SLA programmatic approach framework, through a joint venture with Kier.
• Ongoing success in healthcare, including the delivery of a new mental health facility in Yorkshire, along with continued work for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital King’s Lynn NHS Foundation Trust.
These projects, along with others, have solidified McAvoy's position as a leading provider of both temporary and permanent modular buildings, with a focus on quality and innovation across education, defence, and healthcare sectors.
