Persimmon Homes has promoted Rochelle Theaker to the role of Finance Director at its Wessex business.
Rochelle will be heading up the finance department for the Malmesbury-based business – which also has sites in Didcot, Swindon, Warminster, Frome, and Chippenham – and will be responsible for budgets, cash flow management, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Rochelle joined Persimmon Homes in October 2021 as the Finance Manager for East Wales before becoming Regional Finance Manager overseeing both East and West Wales two years ago. In September 2023, she moved to the Wessex business and has been there ever since.
A Chartered Certified Accountant with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Rochelle had also previously worked for L’Oréal UKI in Cardiff, within both the treasury and financial accounting teams.
Commenting on the promotion, Rochelle said: "I'm pleased to take on this new role at Persimmon Homes Wessex. The company has offered great opportunities for both personal and professional growth, along with valuable training and mentorship.
"The construction industry is dynamic and offers exposure to large-scale projects and the financial complexities of the housing market. It’s rewarding to see how financial decisions impact regional performance.
"I enjoy working in finance because every day brings new challenges, from problem-solving to managing financial projections.
"I look forward to continuing to work closely with the management team and providing financial insights to support the business's continued success."
