Kier Property, in partnership with Watford Borough Council, has commenced construction on a new industrial development at Watford Riverwell, further advancing the area's ongoing regeneration.
The joint venture will deliver a purpose-built unit for Safestore, located opposite Kier Property's highly successful Trade City development, which was completed in 2017. Faircloth Construction Ltd has been appointed as the main contractor, with the project scheduled for completion in spring 2026.
Watford Riverwell is a flagship regeneration initiative between Kier Property and Watford Borough Council, focused on transforming the local area with high-quality residential, commercial, and community spaces. The new Safestore scheme will continue this vision, setting new benchmarks in sustainable industrial development.
