Earlier this month, Liverpool City Council was forced to close part of Everton Park Lifestyles Centre due to structural damage to the roof.

As a result, dry-side facilities, including the sports hall, gym, and squash courts, are temporarily shut. Members are being directed to alternative Lifestyles Centres to access these amenities. However, the swimming pool at Everton Park Lifestyles remains open and fully operational.

The City Council is collaborating with a contractor to conduct a thorough assessment to determine the necessary next steps. Following this assessment, a tender and procurement process will be initiated for the required remedial works.
