Wates Property Services Strengthens Leadership Team

Wates Property Services has announced two appointments to its leadership team as the business continues its growth trajectory in social housing maintenance and facilities management.

Following the acquisition of Liberty in October 2024, Wates Property Services now employs nearly 3,000 people and reported a turnover of £364 million for 2023—an increase of over 50% compared to 2022.

To drive further growth, Paul Maghie has joined as Business Growth Director. With more than 30 years of experience in construction, including leadership roles at United Living Property Services and Bailey Garner, Maghie will focus on expanding the company's market presence.

Additionally, Mark Wiles has been appointed Business Development and Work-winning Director for the facilities management (FM) division. Wiles brings extensive FM expertise from senior positions at ISS, NG Bailey, Interserve, and Emcor, reinforcing Wates' ambitions to grow its FM operations.
