Kier has been appointed by Cambridgeshire County Council to deliver building, mechanical, and electrical maintenance services across the Council's portfolio of 160 corporate buildings.
The contract, which began in November 2024, will run until 2027, with the possibility of two one-year extensions through to 2029. Under the agreement, Kier will provide preventative and reactive maintenance, undertake minor project works, and perform equipment servicing and testing. A 24/7 help desk service will also be available to ensure continuous support across the Council’s properties.
Delivered through Kier Places, the company's division focused on workplace and residential solutions, the services will cover a range of facilities. These include the Council’s New Shire Hall headquarters, libraries, highways depots, park-and-ride facilities, child and family centres, community hubs, and adult and children’s respite homes.
The partnership underscores Kier’s expertise in facilities management and commitment to supporting essential community infrastructure across Cambridgeshire.
