Avant Homes North Yorkshire has teamed up with the Joseph Roundtree Housing Trust to deliver 69 new and affordable homes.
Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT), a social housing and care provider in Yorkshire and the North East, is committed to providing 1,000 new and affordable homes by 2029 for those in the greatest need.
The new homes will be built at Greensward Point in Easingwold and Greenlock Place in Leeds, both Avant Homes developments.
This partnership highlights Avant Homes’ ongoing commitment to offering a mix of private sales, rentals and affordable homes.
JRHT will offer these 69 homes through social rent or their shared ownership programme, ensuring residents can choose.
These energy efficient homes will be rated B or higher for the Energy Performance Certificate, reflecting Avant Homes and JRHT's commitment to sustainability and affordability.
At Greensward Point in Easingwold, the development will include two and three-bedroom detached and semi-detached properties.
The first 12 homes have already been handed over to the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, with the remaining 22 homes expected to be completed by summer 2025.
