Galliford Try's Building North West business has hosted a Supplier Day at Old Trafford in Manchester.
The day brought together suppliers and stakeholders to celebrate achievements in safety, social impact, collaboration and innovation, and to name Partner of the Year. Nominees were also ranked on their dedication to Galliford Try’s Delivering Excellence initiative, a business-wide commitment providing clients with high-quality assurance from bid to aftercare.
The awards presented were made from reclaimed Siberian spruce, sourced through Community Wood Recycling and Emerge Recycling in Manchester. The spruce once formed part of the track at the UK National Cycling Centre (Manchester Velodrome) from 2007 to 2018 and was signed by Olympic champions Jason and Laura Kenny when it arrived for recycling.
