Reardon Court, an extra care housing scheme in Enfield, London, has scooped 'Construction Project of the Year' at the Procure Partnerships Framework National Project Excellence Awards 2024.
These awards reward firms who demonstrate industry best practice and excellence across their projects delivered under the framework.
Moya Murton, Framework Manager at GRAHAM, said: "Winning this award demonstrates Reardon Court’s outstanding qualities in construction, innovation, sustainability and community impact. It highlights the project’s success in delivering not just a building, but a vital and well-executed home for its residents – a place where people feel a sense of belonging and community.
"This achievement underscores the significance of collaboration, with our client, and project and framework partners, and the value of working together to achieve shared success."
Led by Enfield Council, Reardon Court is a new residential care home that guarantees residents independence, safety and comfort for years to come.
This extra care housing scheme comprises 64 one-bedroom and six two-bedroom flats, providing fully accessible, self-contained, affordable rental homes for residents aged 55 and older wishing to live independently but may require additional support and care to do so.
At the heart of Reardon Court is a vibrant communal space, fostering social interaction and community engagement. The central courtyard is a haven for sensory experiences, complemented by walking routes and allotments that promote an active lifestyle and connection to nature.
