Welcoming Amy to the business, Cathal O'Rourke, Chief Executive Officer, said: "Amy's construction sector experience, which includes working alongside other constructors in joint ventures and alliances, means she is well placed to understand the challenges and the opportunities that exist for us to attract and retain a more diverse pool of people and to provide them with unique and rewarding careers.

"She is well positioned to lead our people function as we create an organisation full of difference and a place where people feel they belong, see a pathway to promotion and experience professional and personal development."

Commenting on her appointment, Amy said: "I am delighted to join Laing O’Rourke and learn more about the people and teams delivering critical projects that help improve the lives of the communities they serve.
