Rubb UK Launches New Pre-Designed Building Range

Construction News Image
Say hello to the PDS, PDM, and PDL—Rubb’s new range of pre-designed buildings. We’ve listened to direct customer feedback to develop a line-up of cost-effective, low lead time structures that don’t compromise on quality.

We've laid out a spread of small, medium, and large spans that’ll cover any requirement:

PDS (8, 10, 12m)

PDM (15, 20, 25m)

PDL (30, 40m)

Why pre-design?

By smartly standardising our designs and components we can create savings in time and costs that can be passed onto our customers. These are lessons learned from our years developing the ultimate deployable military hangar, where efficiency is everything.

Commitment to quality

We use hot-dip galvanized steel framework and reinforced, flame-retardant PVC—the same materials that earned us a reputation for quality with our top-spec custom-designed buildings.

Assembled in our Gateshead, Tyne & Wear plant by our skilled steel and PVC teams, this new range is manufactured with the same excellence in engineering we're known for.

These buildings may be temporary, but they’re built to last. We’re that confident in our pre-designed range we're offering our full standard warranty: 25-year steel framework, 10-year single-skin PVC.

Still just as flexible

The PDS, PDM, and PDL come with our full range of accessories to choose from, including multiple door options, lighting and electrics, and HVAC systems.

Our Thermohall® insulated cladding is also available in thicknesses of 50, 100, and 150mm.

The pre-designed line-up also qualifies for our Rubb Service Plan to ensure they remain in prime condition throughout their lifecycle.

Eurocode standards

Our new range complies with multiple BS EN standards, ensuring that our buildings meet the highest levels of safety and performance across all UK conditions.

BS EN 1993 - Design of steel structures

BS EN 1990 - Basis of structural design

BS EN 1991-1-1 - Actions on structures

BS EN 1991-1-3 - Snow loads

BS EN 1991-1-4 - Wind loads

BS EN 1991-1-7 - Accidental loads

Managing Director, Rubb UK, Ian Hindmoor, said: "I'm very proud of what the Rubb team has developed here. Our pre-designed range marks another milestone in our commitment to providing our customers with the right solution at the right time."
