Avant Homes To Deliver Over 100 New Houses In Nottinghamshire

Avant Homes is to deliver over 100 new houses in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, after being granted planning permission for a £29 million multi-tenure development.

Called Lawrence Point, and located on Lynncroft, the development will comprise a mix of two, three, four and five bedroom homes.

It will feature 12 of Avant Homes’ practically designed, energy efficient house types including terrace, semi-detached and detached and prices will start from £189,995 for a two-bedroom terrace property. Of the 104 homes proposed, 10 per cent have been designated to affordable housing.

Work at Lawrence Point is expected to start on site in September 2024, with the first residents anticipated to move into their new homes in August 2025.

Avant Homes will also commit to a community contribution with £506,000 the provision of local education, healthcare and improvements of bus stops and library facilities.

Avant Homes Central director in charge, Matt Barker, said: "Lawrence Point is an excellent example of our commitment to providing quality new homes for everyone in locations where people want to live.

"The development will provide a mix of practically designed, energy-efficient home that will appeal to everyone from first time buyers, to second steppers, families and downsizers.

"We look forward to works starting on new and thriving community that we are building in Eastwood. Our initial infrastructure works will include implementing further measures that effectively manage any surface water.

"Now that planning has been granted, we fully anticipate Lawrence Point will prove extremely popular with those living in or looking to move to Eastwood."
