Morgan Sindall Construction has been reappointed by Essex County Council to the Essex Construction Framework (ECF3) for another four years.

The team has been appointed to Lot 2 (£500,000 - £4.5 million) and Lot 3 (over £4.5 million) of the framework, as it aims to improve the region’s educational offering.

In the previous iteration of the framework, Morgan Sindall's team has been working with Essex County Council to deliver several flagship projects across the county.

This includes a whole raft of primary, secondary and specialist education needs (SEN) schools. Highlights include Trinity Primary School, Ormiston Rivers Academy, Cedar Hall School, St Luke’s Primary School, Clacton County High School, Limebrook Way Primary School, and more recently Glenwood School.

Outside of education, Morgan Sindall also worked closely with Basildon Council to use the framework as a vehicle to procure work for the much-needed Eversley Leisure Centre that opened earlier in 2024.

Throughout these projects, social value has been at the forefront of Morgan Sindall and Essex County Council’s priorities. Over the last iteration of the framework, Morgan Sindall projects have engaged with 23 apprentices, meaning 545 weeks of work experience and delivered £84.5 million in social value to the local community.

Morgan Sindall will continue to deploy its Intelligent Solutions approach on projects procured through the framework, which brings together innovative digital and platform design capabilities through proprietary systems such as CarboniCa, with modern construction methods and innovative carbon reduction tools to deliver outstanding results for clients and communities.
