South Derbyshire District Council has appointed Wates to deliver planned and responsive housing maintenance works to the Council's 3,000 properties.

The contract will run for an initial two years with potential extensions for a further two years and will see Wates carry out a range of day to day and specialist works. These include responsive repairs and planned external works to specialist aids and adaptations to make homes accessible and reactive works to the Council's corporate buildings.

Through this partnership, Wates will support the delivery of the Council's 2024 – 2028 Plan through its expertise in delivering maintenance works at scale, innovative working practices and exceptional track record with resident engagement and social value.
