Horde has promoted two esteemed employees to key leadership positions within the organisation.
These promotions come at a pivotal time, following a comprehensive rebrand, under the leadership of CEO Alex Hurn.
Chloe Hylton has been promoted from Head of Residential Services to Operational Surveying Director. In this new role, Chloe will be the direct contact for all operational matters, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency across all projects at Horde.
This will include all HR, recruitment, client service, finance, and compliance matters. Additionally, Chloe will continue to head up the residential surveying team and ensure the business is consistently meeting growth goals.
With a wealth of experience in residential surveying and a proven track record of success, Chloe is poised to drive significant advancements and innovation within the business.
David Drew, who joined Horde at the start of 2024, has also been promoted from Head of Projects to Technical Services Director.
In his new position, David will lead the technical teams, focusing on enhancing service delivery and implementing cutting-edge solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients.
Alongside this, David will continue to lead and grow the Project Management and Quantity Surveying divisions of the business whilst providing key technical support and guidance to all technical departments.
David's extensive project management experience and technical expertise will be instrumental in reinforcing Horde’s commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.
CEO Alex Hurn commented on the promotions: "We are thrilled to promote Chloe and David to these critical leadership positions. Their dedication, expertise, and vision have been invaluable to our company's success. As we embark on this exciting new chapter with our rebrand, their leadership will be crucial in driving our mission to provide exceptional consultancy services to our clients."
The company's rebrand reflects its commitment to innovation, growth, and tenacity in the building consultancy industry. The new brand identity was unveiled at the end of May where Sillence Hurn became Horde Ltd, marking a significant milestone in the company’s journey.
