Oakland International has acquired a new industrial site in Knottingley, West Yorkshire.
The 161,578 sq. ft. building, secured with the assistance of Clews & Co Chartered Surveyors, was completed in March 2024. It features 1Mva of power capacity and offers the potential to install an extensive solar array across the entire roof, generating approximately 600kva of renewable energy.
Oakland's Group CEO Shaun Foley commented: "Needing more space due to increasing customer demand, and having investigated several sites, Knottingley was identified as the ideal location in supporting our client base and further increasing our geographical footprint in the UK market."
