PermaGroup, a leading provider of innovative product solutions, has welcomed two new members to its senior team.
Steve Greaves has joined as group head of sales while Sam Stephens has been appointed group head of operations, with both new recruits bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to support PermaGroup on its continued trajectory of success and growth.
With over three decades of industry experience, Steve started his career journey as a commercial salesperson. Progressing steadily, he ascended through various roles including managing director and regional sales director positions for renowned international brands. A distinguished member of the Institute of Roofing, Steve specialises in technical sales of flat roofing, single ply, liquids and green roofs, making him an ideal addition to the PermaGroup team.
Steve said: "PermaGroup’s products are wide-ranging and exciting, and I’m particularly keen to learn more about the Elevate range, which includes systems offering exceptional waterproofing with a high service life expectancy. I’ve joined a brilliant team and I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and being able to share my knowledge with them. I’ve been developing sales teams for the last 20 years, so creating a new team at PermaGroup is a challenge I’m ready to take on."
Sam brings to the team extensive experience in operational leadership, procurement, coaching, and development. In his new position, he will be responsible for supervising a team of 25 individuals and will be taking a leading role in Production, Logistics, Procurement, and Health and Safety initiatives.
Sam said: "Coaching and people development is one of my favourite and most rewarding parts of my job, so I’m excited to get to know the team and also work with the leadership team to drive the business forward. Part of our growth strategy is to further professionalise the business and the team to help propel PermaGroup beyond a national level, so this is a challenge I’m excited to take on."
Adrian Buttress, managing director at PermaGroup, stated: "Both Steve and Sam are fantastic additions to our team, and I know they’re going to be a real asset as we continue to work on our expansion plans. They both have years of invaluable experience that we’re looking forward to implementing into our sales and operations teams, and seeing how they can help the business grow."
