Vistry Group has teamed up with housing association Chelmer Housing Partnership (CHP), have delivered the latest phase of homes at St James Park in Bishop's Stortford.
Delivered through Vistry's Countryside Partnerships brand the development, which is located on Whittington Way within the St James’ Park development, will deliver 42 affordable homes in total, comprising 28 affordable rented homes and 14 shared ownership homes offering a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom homes. Seven of the 42 affordable housing units have now been delivered, forming part of 103 homes in total being delivered by Vistry in this latest phase which also includes 30 private homes and 31 homes for the private rental market.
St James' Park is an exciting new neighbourhood located in one of the most sought-after areas in Bishop’s Stortford. The development will benefit from extensive new facilities for sports and recreation, as well as open green spaces and new primary and secondary schools. A new village centre with local shops and an employment park will become the heart of the new community.
12 of the 30 private homes being delivered as part of this latest phase have been launched to the market, offering a superb collection of three and four-bedroom homes with exceptionally well-designed living space and close to all the amenities on offer in Bishop’s Stortford. Surrounded by countryside on the Hertfordshire and Essex borders, and with speedy commuter links into London, prices for new homes start at £460,000.
