Flacks Group has entered into an agreement with Elementis for the acquisition of the 500-acre brownfield site, next to Teesside airport, in the United Kingdom.
Flacks Group is developing a plan for the site which includes the creation of mixed-use spaces, residential and commercial areas, revitalisation of green space and delivering of renewable energy projects suitable for the 21st century.
Renewable energy provisions, including solar panels and wind turbines to promote sustainability, will be developed with an investment of more than $1.5 billion with the worlds leading energy providers, planned within the next 10 years. Creating hundreds of new jobs, homes, work places, leisure facilities in the area, this is the first of several acquisitions Flacks Group is making in the UK.
