Improvement works to Luton Millennium Green in Chatham have been completed.
New play equipment has been installed, with one area designed for toddler play and another for junior play.
The toddler area has seen a play tunnel, slide, stepping logs, a balance beam and swing installed, in addition to existing equipment.
The junior area has seen a new roundabout, swing sets, a see-saw and a climbing frame installed.
Both play areas were officially opened by the Mayor of Medway, Cllr Nina Gurung.
As well as the new play areas, the park has had vegetation cut back to improve sight lines, improvements have been made to the footpaths, additional seating has been installed and a mixed orchard with a variety of trees has been planted.
The improvements follow on from a community event which was held in October 2022 where residents were consulted on what changes they would like to see made to the park.
The improvements have been funded through the Levelling Up Park Fund (LUPF) and Section 106 contributions from developers.
