Morgan Sindall Construction's Thames Valley business has expanded into a new office at St Thomas House, on Becket Street, Oxford.
The new space will act as a satellite to the existing Thames Valley Office and provides valuable meeting and working space in the heart of city.
Built in 1893, the historic Grade II listed building is a shared office space, offering meeting room space and shared facilities as well as a generous garden area and ample parking allocation.
The new location will be occupied by 8-10 permanent staff, while also being able to host regional clients and provide a touch-down office to any of the Thames Valley team’s 80 full-time employees.
The St Thomas House office expansion comes as the tier one contractor continues to work actively in the city, having completed two university projects at Reuben College and St Cross for The University of Oxford, along with major projects for Oxford Brooks University, which includes works on the Clive Booth Student Village. The Thames Valley team also has five new Oxford projects secured and in the preconstruction stage.
James York, area director for Morgan Sindall’s Thames Valley business, said: "Opening the doors to our new residence, which is in a Grade II listed building at the heart of such a beautiful city, is a fantastic moment. The location provides us not only with a beautiful backdrop, but with a hub in the heart of the Oxford area. As a team, we are looking to grow our relationship with the fantastic institutions that we work with in the city, and our new satellite office enables us to do that.
"We've completed, and are underway at several sites across the area, which is why it's so important to be rooted within the communities in which we’re working. We look forward to continuing our existing relationships, engaging in new ones, and hopefully seeing some of you at our new space."
