Pick Everard has been appointed as sole supplier to the Ministry of Justice's (MoJ) Professional Services Providers framework for the Central England and Wales Region.
Operating as a four-year framework, with the option to extend by three times for one-year periods, Pick Everard will deploy the breadth of its multi-disciplinary service capability to help deliver prisons, courts, probation facilities, border crossing facilities and Home Office and government buildings across Wales and Central England.
Procured via the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework, the appointment builds on Pick Everard’s long-standing experience in the UK justice sector, having recently delivered one of the UK’s largest capacity prisons, HMP Fosse Way, in June 2023.
Ali Ratcliffe, Director at Pick Everard, said: We are dedicated to creating lasting legacies that positively influence communities and the environment. This achievement marks the expansion of our partnership with the Ministry of Justice, which will benefit not only the justice sector as a whole, but also spur career-enhancing opportunities for our people.
"Our vision for this role extends beyond the immediate objectives, and the same innovation and sustainability utilised at some of our most impactful projects, such as HMP Fosse Way, will be at the core of our approach, ensuring each project we undertake moving forwards has a meaningful and enduring impact."
Tim Irons, national operations director at Pick Everard, said: "We collaborate with over 500 supply chain partners throughout the UK, which in turn helps offer our clients alternative market access options.
"With this appointment, we’ll be able to provide full access to this service capability, helping solve the most complex infrastructure requirements that exist across justice estates. We’re excited about the prospects of creating real change and lasting legacy. Our approach will focus on accelerated transformation alongside application of trauma-informed design and treatment-focused approaches to support improved outcomes."
