The Banks Group has moved into larger Yorkshire premises as part of fulfilling its investment and job creation plans in the county.
Banks took on an office at Harewood Yard, close to Harewood House, in 2020 as it looked to increase its project portfolio across the county, and has quickly increased its Yorkshire-based team from two people to nine.
The family-owned firm has now taken on a 1,400 sq ft office in the same location, and is expecting to create a number of additional new jobs in the county over the next 12 months, with space available in the new office to accommodate future new recruits.
The office, which is located in a converted Grade II-listed building, is also used by staff from Banks' County Durham headquarters who are working on local projects.
The Banks Group has a long track record of successful Yorkshire developments across its property, renewable energy and mining businesses.
It has developed housing schemes in Sheffield, Harrogate and Leeds, and currently has 18 residential property schemes at different stages of development across the county, including projects in North Yorkshire and Wakefield that will see planning applications submitted to their respective local councils in the near future.
