RSK Group Acquires ABM

RSK Group has announced that it has acquired ABM, a Catalan water management, construction and engineering services company.

ABM provides services for public and private clients that are established in Catalonia and in the rest of Spain. It has 20 years in the Catalan market and offices in Barcelona and Girona.

The company is committed to improving and expanding its services, adapting them to client needs and the latest technologies. ABM has a team of 36 which includes civil engineers, industrial engineers, architects, PhD engineers, geographic information system experts, chemical engineers and agronomic engineers.

Managing Director Joan Macarro Ortega, who will continue to lead the business, said: "Being part of the RSK Group, a company with similar values to ours, allows us to continue increasing the value of ABM services to our clients and to society in general, as well as promoting the development of our technical specialists and collaborators in new projects."

RSK Group Chief Executive Officer Alan Ryder, said: "ABM brings specialised knowledge and impressive project experience across a range of water sector management and civil and urban engineering work, providing advanced solutions for these projects with an emphasis on the water sector.

As RSK Group continues to grow it now has acquired 200 companies with a total of 12,000 employees. The group's annual turnover at the end of FY23 is expected to be in excess of £1.2 billion.
