Lovell has won a prestigious health and safety award for the nineteenth year in a row.
Lovell, responsible for developments including Glow Garren in Hamilton and Oakwood Edge in Midlothian, scooped the coveted Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Order of Distinction Gold Award at the 2023 annual Health and Safety Awards. This marks nearly two decades of success at the highest level.
Lovell Health and Safety Manager, William Lindsay, accepted the award from Interim Regional Director, David Carmichael.
The RoSPA Health and Safety Awards are the largest occupational health and safety awards programme in the UK. They recognise organisations committed to continuous improvement in the prevention of accidents and ill health at work.
Lovell thanks RoSPA for its continued dedication to improving occupational health and workplace safety and for continuing to recognise Lovell as a leader in keeping people safe and healthy at work.
William Lindsay, Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager at Lovell, said: "At Lovell, the health and safety of everyone we work with is our utmost priority and we are proud to see our commitment being recognised once again.
"The RoSPA awards are rightly recognised as the Oscars of workplace safety in the UK, and so winning their top award for nearly two continuous decades is something we are thrilled to have achieved.
"Lovell will continue to live up to this record in the future and we look forward to, hopefully, celebrating with another such award in 2024."
