Moda has secured planning permission for a £134 Million studio living neighbourhood in Bermondsey, South London.

The project is based on Penarth Street and includes 283 interior-designed studio homes. Other facilities include a 24/7 gym, rooftop terrace and residents' lounge. The neighbourhood also includes 47 Affordable homes.

Residents will have a range of other amenities available to them, such as a games room, private dining area, on site laundry facilities and secure cycle storage.

Moda have incorporated a number of elements of smart technology into the designs. Residents will have access to a range of data through the MyModa app. These include air temperature, air quality and light levels.

Additionally, the app will allow users to book onto the neighbourhoods’ programme of events, form community groups, make use of exclusive brand partnerships and report any maintenance issues to the 24-hour concierge.

Work on the project is scheduled to be complete in 2026 with the early stages of development set to commence in the coming months.
