Land Securities (Landsec) has awarded Collins Construction a £20 million project to develop flexible office space for Myo.
The scheme, at 3 New Street Square, will provide six storeys of high-quality, flexible office space across 65,000 sq. ft creating a flagship location for Myo and its first standalone workspace to occupy an entire building.
Collins will deliver a refurbishment and fit out that will upgrade the building to achieve WELL Platinum certification, with increased outdoor space and high-quality finishes and materials with a focus on flexibility and customisation.
Works include the addition of a roof extension with a pavilion and terrace to provide Myo customers with views across London and to St Paul’s. The team will fit out all six floors including a ground floor event space, new reception, and various flexible workspaces – from private meeting rooms and executive offices to configurable furniture, interiors and biophilia.
High-quality enhancements to the base-build include extending the lifts, refreshing the façade, upgrading all services with a ceiling coordination programme, and modernising all staircases and WCs.
Collins has also delivered Myo’s first two locations at Dashwood and 123 Victoria Street.
Ryan Cleanthi, Divisional Director at Collins Construction, said: "Having delivered Myo’s first two locations, we are delighted to be working with Landsec again to deliver this flagship project. Collins will maintain the very high standard of the Myo brand by delivering the space to WELL Platinum, after successfully delivering Myo Liverpool Street as the first Platinum rated flexible office space in the City of London. Our strong relationships with the design team and our supply chain has allowed us to create a robust programme that meets the challenging WELL criteria and will ultimately deliver a flexible workspace of the highest quality for Myo’s customers."
