Northern Powergrid (NPg) has awarded Keltbray a framework deal worth approximately £40 million.

The company has been appointed to deliver Overhead Line (OHL) infrastructure and provide support to the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero's strategy.

The contract includes developing new overhead line infrastructure, and refurbishment and replacement of time-expired assets to bring the overhead electricity distribution infrastructure in line with modern standards.

The works will take place in West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire and the Humber Estuary regions.

Keltbray's Chief Executive Officer, Darren James, commented: "This prestigious contract award swiftly follows on from our recent announcement of £150 million of energy contract wins, reinforcing Keltbray's growing reputation as the ‘go to’ provider for infrastructure services."
