Wates has been selected by housing association L&Q for a £2 billion major works programme.
The firm has been appointed to provide maintenance and fire safety works to 13,400 homes as part of a 15-year, major works programme worth up to £300m a year.
The new contract will be delivered by the southern planned maintenance team and will see Wates improve and maintain homes across Greenwich, Dartford, Bromley and parts of Medway borough.
Included within the scope of the contract are planned works to maintain standards, including external and internal works,
Additional work includes mechanical and electrical repairs and fire safety, including sprinkler systems, new alarms, risk assessments and fire door upgrades.
