Construction work has been completed on a major medical distribution centre at Wakefield Hub.

The new 260,000 sq. ft. building for PHOENIX Group will serve the NHS and pharmacies across the UK, further boosting the 250 million packs of medication the company delivers each year.

A joint venture partnership between developers, HBD and Yorkcourt, Wakefield Hub is one of the largest regeneration projects of its kind in the North of England. The 200-acre development has already attracted significant inward investment and will create hundreds of new jobs.

Over the last few years PHOENIX have seen double digit growth and our new Wakefield site gives an enormous opportunity for growth as well as driving job opportunities for Wakefield and the locality."
