Muse has put forward plans to Cheshire East Council to bring forward WestonM6, a new 1.3m sq ft highly-sustainable logistics and business park.
As part of the 'hybrid' submission, we're also seeking detailed approval for the first phase of regeneration, which will include three high-quality industrial buildings totalling approximately 750,000 sq ft. As part of the wider regeneration, we’ll deliver a range of amenities for the community, including landscaped nature areas, a 3km active walking trail and a wildlife ‘pocket’ park.
Spread out across 64 acres, the scheme will create up to 2,900 new jobs for the community, including 165 jobs during construction phase and generate an additional £3.4m in business rates.
Alan McBride, projects director, said: "At WestonM6, we’ve worked hard to design a sustainable place that complements the existing neighbourhood being created, unlocks vast areas of greenery, to promote a healthy lifestyle, but importantly attracts significant inward investment and meets the demand for new jobs in the town.
"As a business, we're committed to creating vibrant places that leave a long-lasting positive legacy to benefit communities and at WestonM6 we know we'll achieve just that and build a brighter future for all in Crewe."
