Housebuilder Bellway has revealed plans to deliver 156 new homes in Rochdale.
The new development will form part of the wider South Heywood Masterplan.
The site, which is located on Manchester Road in South Heywood, is 11.6 acres in size with Bellway providing a range of three, four and five bedroom homes from its Artisan Collection.
Work has now started on site, which is progressing well, and the housebuilder plans to open two show homes in Spring.
Known as Hopwood Meadows, the development offers a mix of semi-detached and detached homes, appealing to all buyers and budgets.
Grace Yarlett, sales director at Bellway, says: "It is great to be part of the South Heywood Masterplan and we are proud to contribute and provide high quality new build homes in this new community in Rochdale.
"The plans for Hopwood Meadow are superb and we are confident the design and specification of our Artisan homes will attract buyers. With the first few sales already secured, we continue to look forward to welcoming potential purchasers to site to learn more about Bellway."
In addition to the new development, Bellway has made several significant contributions to the locality including £2,480,000 towards a link road, £667,950 for public open space, £720,720 to education, £191,880 towards the local bus service and bus stops, £124,800 towards primary school land value and £31,200 for a sport pitch.
