BAM Properties has appointed a new Managing Director.
Euan Miller joined BAM Properties, the development business for BAM UK and Ireland, 16 years ago as Legal director and has been acting as interim MD for several months.
Born and raised in Glasgow, where he lives with his wife and three young children, Euan Miller is a graduate of Glasgow University and has been on the Board of BAM Properties since joining the company.
He has been a key player in BAM Properties' successful delivery of major development projects over the years.
Simon Finnie, Executive Director, BAM Ventures, said: "Euan has been developing plans to grow the properties business in what is a key market for BAM’s UK and Ireland division. He has an incredible knowledge and understanding of the UK properties market and I know he is delighted to have the opportunity to build upon the great work already achieved by the team."
Mr Miller commented: "I'm honoured to be taking on the position of managing director and I feel very proud to be leading a dedicated and experienced team who are all committed to driving the properties business forward. I look forward to the year ahead, which will be a busy one as we start to rebuild the pipeline of opportunities for the UK Property business and play our part fully in delivering the BAM UK and Ireland strategic agenda."
BAM Properties has had several successes in recent months, including its Capital Square development in Edinburgh winning the highly commended award for ‘Best Commercial Workplace’ in the Scottish regional British Council for Offices awards. Capital Square won the International Green Apple Environmental Award 2022 for work towards Biodiversity. BAM’s Atlantic Square development in Glasgow was also ‘Highly Commended’ in the same BCO awards.
