Huw Jones has been appointed as Executive Director of BAM Nuttall.
Ian Parish has announced he is to retire from the business.
Huw, a chartered civil engineer, joined BAM in 2009 following previous roles with both contracting and client organisations in the industry, initially joining as a project manager in the South West of England before moving on to various roles across the rail division. Huw subsequently became the Division Director for Rail in 2017 before being promoted to his current role as Managing Director for Transport in April this year.
He is married to Rachel and they have two children.
To ensure a smooth handover Ian Parish will remain within the business during January 2023.
Huw Jones said: "We have a strong business that has been built around our great people, with a fantastic culture and a proud civil engineering heritage. I feel extremely honoured to be given the opportunity to help take the business forward, as we look to build upon our strong platform and deliver for our customers, stakeholders and for the communities in which we work. Thanks also to Ian who leaves a fantastic legacy for our organisation, and we wish him every happiness in his retirement."
