A total of four Galliford Try and Morrison Construction projects have been shortlisted for this years' Education Estates Awards.

The awards are part of the 10th annual Education Estates event, the leading exhibition and conference for the education sector, partnered by the Department for Education.

Galliford Try has been shortlisted in categories: Project of the Year Universities, for The Exchange Birmingham; Project of the Year Schools, for Queen Elizabeth High and Hexham Middle Schools; Inspiring Learning Spaces, for Castlebrae Community Campus and Pupil/ Student experience, for Castlebrae and Queensferry High School.

Claire Jackson, Education Director for Galliford Try, said: "The expertise of our teams across schools and higher education buildings have created high-quality learning environments for students and staff throughout the country. We are delighted to have these projects recognised at the awards and look forward to taking part in the Education Estates event in October."

The winners will be announced in Manchester on 18 October.
