Plans To Develop 27 New Homes In Northfield Get The Go-Ahead

SevenHomes has been given the go-ahead from Birmingham City Council to deliver 27 new homes on the site of the former Ross House medical facility in Northfield.

The 2.4 acre brownfield site was previously classed as surplus land, enabling it to be redeveloped and given a new lease of life with capital raised being injected back into NHS services.

Located off Sheldon Road, the new development – The Crescent, will boast a range of two, three and four-bedroom family homes in terrace, detached and townhouse styles, with a gross development value (GDV) of £7.5 million. The intimate development will also include affordable properties at 75% market value.

Benefitting from good road and rail connectivity into Birmingham and close proximity to the M5/M42 motorway links, The Crescent is well positioned with an array of popular amenities nearby, including the multi-million-pound retail facilities in Longbridge, green spaces of Cofton Park and the popular Lickey Hills Country Park.
