The COVID-19 pandemic has taught us one thing – that anti-bacterial products are here to stay.
Ceildoor's Air Tight anti-bacterial coated Access Panel was available before anyone had heard of COVID. It is commonly used in healthcare environments such as operating theatres and is used in Great Ormond Street Hospital, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Fitzpatrick Referrals veterinary centre as well as in manufacturing clean-rooms. These panels are designed to protect against air, moisture and dust and are independently tested under UKAS approved laboratory conditions.
Silver ion coating
Our silver ion anti-bacterial coating is proven to actively reduce bacterial growth without being harmful to humans. Silver ion inhibits the ability of micro-organisms to grow without the high toxicity associated with other metals.
Applied to all surfaces of our Air Tight Access Panels as standard, the silver ion infused powder coating is not only long lasting, but it is proven to actively reduce bacterial growth by disrupting the bacteria's cellular function and its ability to survive. Test results demonstrate that bacterial levels of E-Coli and MRSA were reduced to below the limit of detection within 24 hours. At an additional cost, silver ion anti-bacterial coating can be applied to any of our access hatches.
The panel is fitted with a high-density dual gasket sealing system which creates a highly protective barrier against dust, moisture and air once closed.
Our Air Tight Access Panels are available with a metal faced door in picture or bead frame in any RAL colour.
