Flat roofing supplier PermaRoof, part of PermaGroup, has extended its partnership with builders merchant Huws Gray.
The extension marks the fourth consecutive year that the roofing products specialist has joined forces with Huws Gray after the partnership was first established in 2017.
Adrian Buttress, managing director of PermaGroup, said: "Strong trading relationships are absolutely crucial, particularly at a time when the industry is facing its fair share of challenges, due to the ongoing pandemic combined with the effects of Brexit and the materials shortages. We have an ever-growing list of suppliers operating across the country and this is something that we will continue to build over the coming year.
"However, maintaining and nurturing those existing connections is just as pivotal. Therefore, we're absolutely thrilled to have confirmed another trading agreement with Huws Gray as we continue our excellent, and now well-established, working relationship."
The partnership came about following Huws Gray's extensive search for an EPDM rubber roofing supplier to enhance its existing range of liquid and felt systems.
Kris Jones, category manager, building plastics and flat roofing at Huws Gray, said: "After initially working with two other suppliers, we realised that, as a new product area for us, introducing EPDM rubber roofing would require a complete re-education of our brand network.
"PermaRoof, as the UK's operator of the National Training Centre for Firestone RubberCover, provided us with the answer and built the foundations of what has proven to be an incredibly fruitful partnership. We’re very grateful for the support of Adrian and the team at PermaRoof – particularly over the past 12 months – and look forward to another prosperous year."
