Midas Construction has been selected to build the first of a new generation of care homes in Fleet, Hampshire, on behalf of Principle Care Homes.
Heron Manor will be a flagship project for Principle Care Homes, which has been co-founded by Ashish and Nisha Goyal, a brother and sister team both hugely experienced and widely respected within the care sector.
The state-of-the-art facility on Reading Road North will see the creation of a 60-bedroom care home which will provide residential and dementia care and include features such as a physiotherapy suite, exercise studio and hydrotherapy pool.
Midas Construction, part of the Midas Group, is carrying out preparatory works in readiness for a start on site in mid-November, which will begin with the commencement of the groundworks and piling works.
The new building will allow the development of the best in facilities, layout and residents’ accommodation. Whilst modern in concept, it has been carefully designed by DWA Architects to respect the North Fleet Conservation Area.
There will be 18 bedrooms at ground floor level, 21 bedrooms at first floor level and 21 bedrooms at second floor level. In addition, the care home will provide residential, nursing and dementia care and other facilities such as dayrooms, dining rooms, bistro, cinema and a hair salon.
