Mace Scoops Awards At Project Controls Expo 2021

Construction and consultancy firm Mace has scooped three awards at the Project Controls Expo 2021.



Mace's consultancy business swept the 'Social Impact of the Year', 'Mega Project of the Year' and 'Global Project Controls Professional of the Year' awards.



Mace's Rubens Munaretto, Project Controls Director, was named as the global project controls professional of the year for his work on The Nightingale Hospital at the ExCel in London and Megalabs. Rubens led the establishment of reporting, controls for design and construction activities and documentation of governance, supporting efficient working across the team



In the 'Mega Project of the Year' category, Mace won with the recently completed 'Expo 2020 Dubai', where the team redefined the boundaries of ambition with consultancy services.



For the 'Social Impact of the Year' category, Mace was rewarded for project managing the delivery of The Nightingale Hospital at the ExCel in London. The team demonstrated excellence in decision making, project controls, modern methods of construction, technical solutions and resilience in delivering the hospital in record time.
