Cityheart Limited has submitted a reserved planning application for first phase of a £50 million project in Halebank, Widnes.
Cityheart, Halton Borough Council’s appointed development partner for the proposed £50 million regeneration scheme on Foundry Lane in Halebank, Widnes, has submitted a reserved matters planning application for the first phase of the scheme.
Phase one will see the transformation of the former Tarmac and Stobart sites, to provide 86 new homes comprising two and three bed houses and two bed apartments set in a high-quality landscaped environment.
Cityheart has partnered with Torus as its registered provider who will take ownership and manage the new homes once completed to deliver a mix of affordable rent and shared ownership options.
Warren Taylor, director of Cityheart Limited, commented: "This is a significant milestone in facilitating the delivery of this vibrant new regeneration project in the heart of Halebank. This application signifies the critical next step in allowing Cityheart to commence works on site later this year in order to deliver the homes for our partner, Torus, by summer 2023."
The appointed professional team for the project comprise architect Corstorphine + Wright, landscape architect DEP and planning consultant is Zerum.
