Construction firm BAM has appointed a new Head of Social Impace.
BAM appoints Head of Social Impact
Danielle (Danni) Aberg will report directly to Chief Executive, James Wimpenny.
Danni has over 16 years' experience in the field of social value and diversity and inclusion.
She joins BAM having set up her own consultancy providing strategic advice and services to a range of clients to shape and deliver their social value strategies.
Most recently, she was involved in developing and leading the social value program for the Welsh Government Mutual Investment Model, delivering a £500m schools infrastructure program across Wales, and has worked for the Construction Industry Training Board and Bouygues. She studied at Cardiff Metropolitan University and the Chartered Management Institute.
Speaking about her appointment she said: "I am delighted to join BAM at such an exciting time when the social value landscape is advancing right across the UK. Construction is more than just bricks and mortar, we are helping to shape communities, creating local jobs and training, delivering modern sustainable buildings, and inspiring the next generation through engagement in education.
