Willmott Dixon To Develop Over 100 New Homes In Hounslow

Willmott Dixon has been selected to develop over 100 new homes in Hounslow.

Frank Towell Court, a £31.8m housing complex, will create 102 new homes in the borough.

Located in Feltham, the project will involve construction of two eight storey residential towers, a four-storey block of flats and seven Mews houses. Combining a mixture of apartments, houses and maisonettes, the project will also include landscaped gardens and public realm for residents to enjoy, along with wildlife areas, a park and new pathways.

Sustainability is at the heart of Frank Towell Court's design, with a range of energy saving and biodiversity initiatives being utilised. Photovoltaic panels will be fitted to the roof of each building to generate renewable energy, while the build will embrace a landscaping design that incorporates rain gardens, providing a sustainable method of irrigation. Further biodiversity measures include the provision of bird, bat and hedgehog boxes, as well as a bee/bird bath.

Cllr Steve Curran, Leader of Hounslow Council: "Frank Towell Court will deliver a housing complex for local people, providing new flats and houses that will help us to bridge the gap in much needed housing supply and go a long way to deliver the Council’s pledge to deliver 5,000 new homes by 2022.

"Furthermore, it's great to be working in partnership with Willmott Dixon, who have been longstanding partners of Hounslow Council and I look forward to seeing the scheme take shape."
