Lovell has started construction work on a new housing development in Brewood, Staffordshire.

Located off Engleton Lane, Somerford Park will create a collection of traditional one, two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Providing a mix of 43 high-quality homes for open market sale as well as a further 30 homes for shared ownership, the development's design includes elements of Georgian, Victorian and Tudor architecture, with inspiration taken from the surrounding areas.

There are also plans for a new high-quality public open space and a £30,000 contribution towards the improvement of leisure/sporting facilities in Brewood village.

Stuart Penn, regional managing director for Lovell, said: "We're thrilled to be starting construction on 73 new homes in the sought-after village of Brewood, which will offer such a wide variety of multi-tenure homes to Staffordshire.
