Housebuilder Harron Homes has appointed a new site manager at its Kings Cross development in Killinghall near Harrogate.
Zak Green from Barnsley is well established in the construction industry having started as an apprentice bricklayer in 2012 and worked his way up to Assistant Site Manager. He won Apprentice of the Year 2015/16 for a previous employer, as well as Assistant Site Manager of the Year in 2018.
Talking about his appointment he said: "This is a step up in responsibility for me, as Site Manager. From quality control and health and safety checks to liaising with contractors and working closely with the sales team, every day is different but I like the challenge and working with such a great team.
"Harron stood out to me for the luxury homes it builds and I’m enjoying working on the properties on my site in Harrogate."
Kelly Booth, Sales and Marketing Director for Harron Homes Yorkshire said: "We’re really pleased to have Zak on the team, with an enthusiasm for high standards that matches our own, we're sure he’ll be a great fit."
