Northstone, part of Peel L&P, has put forward plans to deliver 216 new energy-efficient family homes in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.

The company has applied to Cheshire West and Chester Council to build a further new development at Rossfield Park, Ellesmere Port, where an outline planning permission was granted in 2005 for new housing.

The latest plans include a range of houses to suit the needs of local people, from starter homes to larger family homes as well as options for those looking to downsize.

Rossfield Park, a former industrial site, has been the subject of major regeneration spearheaded by Peel L&P over the past few years. The area has seen over 570 homes delivered by other major housebuilders including Persimmon and Anwyl Homes. Northstone's plans now represent the final piece in the puzzle.
