The LIA operates a state-of-the-art photometric test facility with UKAS accreditation and this affiliation with 42 Partners Ltd will create a unique service that will include assistance and guidance in the interpretation of photometric data and test results.

The use of photometric data in lighting designs if not used correctly can yield poor results and lead to refit/upgrade costs.

This new service allows clients to understand the results from the testing process, comprehend how best to design a product or a lighting scheme as well as transferring this extrapolation to other products in their range.
