Buckingham Group has announced a major shake up of its senior team with a string of promotions and a new recruit.
Former Kier Construction Director Dave Sizer joins the company as the new Managing Director for Building following spells with Galliford and GB Buidling Solutions.
Two promotions have also been announced for existing executive board directors, with Ian McSeveney taking on the role of Group Director Building, Civils and HS2, and Simon Walkley named the new Group Director Rail and Health, Safety and Environment.
The company's divisional Managing Directors have also been shaken up. Oran McCloskey, who has been with the firm since 2005, has been promoted to become MD Sports and Leisure. Dean Warman has also been named the new MD Civil Engineering and Simon Hyans will assume the role of Managing Director HS2.
These promotions and new recruit are part of the company's challenge to continue its expansion with sales planned to exceed £600 million in 2020.
Commenting on the appointments, Chief Executive Mike Kempley said: "We are delighted to be welcoming Dave into the Business, and at the same time having the strength within our established team to make several vital promotions. In combination, we are confident that these changes will maintain the Board's client facing ethos, strengthen our leadership, and support the continued profitable growth of Buckingham Group Contracting Ltd."
