Howarth Timber & Building Supplies has launched a new-look Darwen branch.

The branch on Spring Vale Lane underwent a major revamp, which includes new bathroom displays and a brand-new warehouse holding MDF skirts/architrave and window boards.

The Darwen destination offers products which include plumbing and heating, flooring, bricks, cladding and much more. Howarth customers can also book skip hire and drop off house, building and garden waste.

This refurbishment forms part of Howarth's wider programme of investment across the UK, and coincides with the company's 180th year in business.

Graham Lockett, Darwen branch manager at Howarth Timber & Building Supplies, said: "The new and improved layout of the enlarged store will streamline the buying process and offer customers a new extensive portfolio of products."

Gavin Knowles, marketing manager at Howarth Timber & Building Supplies added: "We've been part of the Darwen community for more than 13 years and have supplied local traders with everything from traditional timber products to steel lintels, insulation and now bathrooms."
