ISG has been recognised as one of the top companies in the UK courtesy of a prestigious list.
The firm was named a Sunday Times Best 25 Big Company to work for in 2020, ranking as the highest Tier 1 contractor.
The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work For survey, now in its 20th year, measures workplace engagement to highlight companies that cultivate an employee centric culture. The Big Companies category highlights large scale companies, with 2,000 employees or more in the UK, that work to a common goal of changing the world for a better workplace.
Over 2,800 ISG employees were surveyed, with respondents questioned on a range of topics, including the ethical credentials of the business, how likely they were to recommend the business to a friend or family member and how the company rated in giving something back to the community.
In just its second year of participation, ISG has been ranked as the UK's 17th best big company to work for. ISG's results reveal that 82% of employees agree ISG is run on strong values and principles, 79% believe the experience they gain from their job is valuable for their future and 92% said they can make a valuable contribution to the success of ISG. Other companies in the top 25 list include Roche, Marriott Hotels, Halfords and Selfridges.
Paul Cossell, ISG's CEO, said: "At ISG we strive to offer an unbeatable employment experience, where our people are valued for the diversity of ideas and the creativity and innovation they bring to their roles. Employee engagement, communication and individual empowerment and support play a major role in creating a thriving and dynamic team culture that extends across our global business.
"Being recognised by The Sunday Times Best 25 Big Companies is an immense achievement and an accolade that brings me huge pride, as we set ourselves the ambitious goal to be the world's best construction specialist. Our amazing people make this company the very special place that it is, and we know that our customers directly benefit from engaged teams that have a common goal to strive for better."
